I believe we were created for positive impact. It is our destiny. And our impact is much more important than self-interest. It is living for something larger than one’s self…and that concept is and always has been inspiring to me.
As we adopt the stance of having it all right…and that means everyone else who thinks differently has it all wrong…we dramatically decrease our potential for impact.
When we make impact the impetus it all tends to make more sense. We reach a point of clarity in our search for the reason of our being.
Shaking off the shackles of indifference will win you many critics. Some might even call you nuts. They will say you need help. Someone to talk to that can dispel those nutty notions…exorcise those demons of difference-making.
We talk of love for country as if it were the highest form of sacrificial love. I disagree, highly. I believe this form of intense patriotic love is what separate us. It is what threatens us.
Revolutionary Misfit seeks a change. But not from one type or form of governing to another, but from one type or form of thinking to another. From one that is hell-bent on me to one that is laser-like focused on us.
What the “Big US” proposes is that it is high time to look past what divides us and embrace what unites us…our humanity.
There is a purpose beyond our mere existence that tugs at our souls. It is that universal intelligence calling us to do good…and we accomplish that via impact.
God doesn’t want nor need your donated dollars dipped in dogma…He wants your impact.
Impact Mindfulness proposes the revolutionary idea that we have a duty…an impact to make…and that it is the right thing to focus our lives on making it.
Changing the world becomes a more practical concept when you reduce it down to spreading an “inspirational virus” person to person.
Good and Impact are more than related concepts…they are the same concept…And I will go a step further and proclaim that in order to live a truly “good life” it is necessary that your life be an impactful one.
